I was thinking to do something in the medical field…
    am so confused…
What do we have to do in this field…what type of work?
is it a good career plan?

Do you agree that information should be traded between doctors, facilities, and/or insurance providers for consideration when deciding to take patients on?

I would think a lot of DNA testing aspects would be explored by medical researchers

This is a good career if you have a passion for it just like any other careers. Just choose the organizations that are known for its ethical reputation.

There are two career paths in this field: work up through the ranks at a hospital and become a Director of HIM. Setup a coding company that will perform this activity for small doctors practices who can’t afford a full-time on the staff HIM professional.

An education in ICT or IT can affect your knowledge on how to operate machines and computers around high tech buildings such as hospiatls etc. So to an extent, yes it does.

Yes … but why limit yourself? Get a real strong degree in IT and concentrate your internship or co-op work in a health-related area. That will target the job market the best.
